I spoke to my supplier this morning regarding your sod and was advised to leave it for a couple of weeks, making sure that it is saturated daily and not being walked on except to move the sprinkler around. Their position is that the sod will come back - it is very seldom that it doesn't take if looked after properly. If it isn't okay after a couple of weeks, please contact *** to discuss as this is a product issue and we do not provide a guarantee for the product.
With respect to your concern about rolling - we have heard and read about both sides and we have done it both ways. The end result has always been the same. If it is being watered enough to keep it from drying out, the root growth is the same on rolled vs. unrolled sod. We are also being told by the supplier that rolling is not necessary.
During my telephone conversation with J*** on Tuesday, I advised that we would be completing the sod on Thursday.
When we meet this weekend to clear up your outstanding invoices, I will supply and install the sod in the area that will eventually be under the deck. My apologies that this wasn't completed but it is uncommon for us to sod under a deck so I wasn't aware that this area was to be done until J*** let me know during our Friday telephone conversation. If you wish, we can also discuss your other two properties at that time.

Just to correct you on the sod not being watered. I spoke to my son and my tenants and the sod was watered on Thursday evening from 4pm until 10pm and again on Friday after you finished
up.Some of the sod in the back yard was dry and yellow when you were putting it down on Thursday. I understand Frank asked you to notify him before you installed the sod and he did not know the sod was down until he called you on Friday and you were in Calgary.You did not address my concern on the sod not being rolled.
Feel free to have yourself or your supplier inspect the sod.The front and some of the back seems to be healthy we will contine to water and wait to see if it takes.
